It is known for creating, producing, distributing, and marketing timepieces, leather products, and jewelry. After relocating to the Rue de la Paix in 1899, Louis oversaw the Paris branch. Some of the company's most well-known creations were created by him, including the mystery clocks (a sort of clock with a transparent dial that gets its name from the fact that its mechanism is hidden), trendy wristwatches, and exotic orientalist Art Deco designs, including the vibrant "Tutti Frutti" gems.
